Classes description

All Levels Flow

A vinyasa style flow that takes students through a variety of seated, standing and balancing poses where we cue the breath to create a meditative quality of our flow. Our instructors offer modifications to make these classes accessible to advancing beginners while at the same time offer challenges for more advanced students.

Beginners

We LOVE beginners and our beginner’s class is designed for those who have never practiced yoga before or for students who tend to enjoy and stick with a beginner’s format. Class focus is on alignment, breathe techniques, and foundational yoga poses that strengthen and lengthen the body.

Meditative All Levels Flow

This is a grounding practice that consists of seated and supine poses that emphasize on stretching for the entire body. We focus on pranayama & positive intentions for the week ahead. Bolsters, blocks and blankets are used to comfortably support the body to gain more length within the poses. Class ends with a guided meditation and long relaxing savasana.

Heated Flow (all levels)

A vinyasa style flow where room temperature is set between 80-90 degrees. Class takes students through a variety of seated, standing and balancing poses where we cue the breath to create a meditative quality of our flow. Our instructors offer modifications to make these classes accessible to advancing beginners while at the same time offer challenges for more advanced students.

Heated Sculpt

When muscle meets yoga, it creates a fusion so strong that it boosts metabolism and builds lean muscle. You will combine free weights with traditional holding postures and strong sequencing and learn energizing sets to help work up a detoxifying sweat.(Limited to 15- bring your own set of small hand weights, recommended 3 and 5LB)

Gentle Mat & Meditation

Class opens with a 15 minute gentle stretch. Readings from different yogic and inspirational texts are incorporated where we follow with a few moments of meditation. We then stand for balance poses where we use the wall as support. Class ends with breath work and maybe a guided meditation if time permits. This class is kept light, fun and attainable.

Hatha

This method addresses the needs of the whole person and establishes a fundamental understanding of “mind, body, spirit”. It teaches how to approach total wellness and gives the tools needed to motivate individuals to accept responsibility for their own health. Instruction in physical movement/asanas, breathing exercises/pranayamas and relaxation/meditation practices is an integral part of every class.

Core Focused Yoga Flow (all levels)

A vinyasa style flow where focus in on building deep core strength by incorporating core stability on both our back and on our hands in our plank poses. Class takes students through a variety of seated, standing and balancing poses where we cue the breath to create a meditative quality of our flow where enough attention is paid to target lower abdominals and obliques as well.

Yoga Pilates

This class blends Yoga and Pilates into one intelligently sequenced offering. Both disciplines work together to strengthen your core, lengthen your side body, and improve your alignment. By incorporating abdominals and powerful strengthening postures of pilates and yoga you will feel challenged and energized. Pilates brings a deeper awareness of your core strength and greater control during movements in yoga. You will discover a center of gravity that will allow you to glide in and out of poses with fluidity and grace.

1 Hour Heated Power Flow

A vinyasa style flow where room temperature is set between 80-90 degrees. Class takes students through a variety of seated, standing and balancing poses where we cue the breath to create a meditative quality of our flow. This is a stronger more advanced practice where we incorporate a good amount of shoulder and core work.
