Align Flow Restore
This class is designed for anyone who wants to practice yoga!  We will begin class by breaking down the alignment of 5-10 poses, then put them together in a flow to build some heat and feel the transitions between poses become fluid in the body.  The alignment will help us understand each pose, why we practice it, and how to flow. After building heat, we’ll bring it down
before resting. We’ll do a couple restorative poses for longer, supported holds, ending with a delicious savasana.

Beginners

We love beginners. You take the first step and we will help you through the rest! For those who have never practiced yoga or for those who have and who are looking for a nice stretch while breaking things back down into basics. This class will focus on breath work, strengthening, lengthening and less demanding balance poses. Congratulations! You are about to embark on a journey that will change your life in ways you never imagined!

Gentle Yoga (all levels)
This 60-minute gentle yoga class features many floor-based poses and stretches and a few standing poses for strength and balance. If you have injuries or other conditions that require a modified practice, this class may be a valuable asset to your well-being.

Hatha
This method addresses the needs of the whole person and establishes a fundamental understanding of “mind, body, spirit”. It teaches how to approach total wellness and gives the tools needed to motivate individuals to accept responsibility for their own health. Instruction in physical movement/asanas, breathing exercises/pranayamas and relaxation/meditation practices is an integral part of every class.

Heated Yoga
A Flow Class heated to a toasty 85-89 degrees to allow for a deeper stretch and moderate sweat. Be sure to have your water and a towel on hand.

Intermediate
Appropriate for students who have a basic understanding of yoga, and its physical demands, and who would like to be introduced to more challenging poses such as backbends, inversions and arm balances.

Morning Yoga (all levels)
The perfect way to start your day! Class begins with breath awareness exercises and a few moments of quiet reflection. Some gentle stretching opens the way to a practice of yoga poses to build strength, flexibility, and awareness. A moderately demanding class.

Power Yoga
For those of you with an established yoga practice and an understanding of vinyasa (flow) yoga, challenge yourself with 90 minutes of dynamic vinyasa and strengthening yoga. Power yoga isn’t about bending you into a pretzel, it’s about challenging you to your fullest potential.

Slow Flow (all levels)
You will be inspired to deepen your mind-body connection while building strength and flexibility. Whether you are a beginner wanting to learn the basic postures or a more experienced student wanting a slower practice to explore each posture, this class is for you.

Vinyasa Yoga (not recommended for absolute beginners)
This vigorous yoga class focuses on enhancing endurance, strength and flexibility, synchronizing movement with breath while flowing from pose to pose. The pace of the class is slower than some vinyasa classes, but builds heat and intensity through a sustained practice of Sun Salutations and other flowing sequences. The class begins with seated breath awareness and meditation followed with detailed work on static poses that round out the practice before a final relaxation.

Yogathlete
An all levels class with a focus on opening your hips, back and shoulders through stretching and active flows.  Be prepared to sweat and move while releasing tight muscles! This is the perfect class for runners and athletes alike so you can feel and perform your best during your next workout.  Join us and start your day off right!

Yoga Pilates
This hybrid of yoga and pilates features stretches that warm, strengthen and lengthen – challenging and toning the entire body. Incorporates the core work and powerful strengthening postures of pilates for a full body challenge that will leave you feeling both worked and energized.

Roots on the Road (privates/corporate)

I’m looking for a prenatal yoga class but didn’t see one in your list of classes. If I were to attend a class which one would be best for me having no prior experience with yoga?
