Winter Chakra Balancing 
& Restorative with Essential Oils

This Sunday Dec. 3rd 1-PM
with Julie Aronis & Shannon O’Haverty

As winter fast approaches, we can feel unprepared as the shift of the season can come quick with often cold, wet, cloudy and heavy weather. This can catch us of guard and cause us to feel out of sync. It is good practice to use the beginning of December as a time for grounding and focusing on the internal aspects of our being to create more stillness, especially before the busyness of the holiday season.

This workshop will help us prepare our minds and our bodies and ready them for a restorative rest using postures, poses and essential oils to calm the mind, rejuvenate the body and give balance so we are in a comfortable place to enjoy the peace, comfort and joy of the holiday season ahead and give us balance through the seasonal changes.
Class will include seven restorative poses that will address each chakra. Julie and Shannon will offer a brief overview of Ayurveda and how it relates to the seasons and our bodies as well.
Restorative yoga is a practiced in a reclined position on the mat with props for support. Each pose is designed to be deeply relaxing and offers healing aspects. We will pair each pose with an essential oil and an affirmation as well as a healing crystal.

Relax, Reiki and Restore
Next Thursday December 7th 7:30-8:45 with Carrie
Restore, reconnect, and rejuvenate for the holidays. Join us for an evening of self care, to cultivate body awareness and release stress and anxiety. You’ll be guided through a gentle, all-levels vinyasa flow for grounding and balance, followed by feel-good restorative postures and calming breath work.The instructor will offer (optional) hands-on reiki and Thai massage throughout practice, which will be enhanced with essential oils. Give yourself the gift of nourishment for the holiday!

Heated Holiday Sweat & Surrender
Sunday December 10th 3-5PM with Karen
 In this two hour workshop we will move through an invigorating, heat building vinyasa flow. We will combine many twisting postures, standing sequences, and core-strengthening poses. The last 30 minutes of the practice will consist of deep hip openers and supported restorative poses to send you into a blissful savasana!During final rest, peppermint cloths will be placed on your forehead to deliver a cool calming effect on your body and peppermint ice tea will be served after practice!

Aromatic & Restorative 
Thursday, December 21st 7:30-8:45PM with Julie

Join Julie for two of her favorite classes combined together! Class will open with gentle stretching followed by deep restorative poses.Three essential oils will be shared though out class. Restorative yoga is a deeply relaxing and therapeutic class for all levels, including absolute beginners. We will use bolsters, blankets, blocks and straps to support every part of the body for several minutes. By supporting the physical self, we create an environment which allows the nervous system and other internal systems to completely relax and recharge.Although the room will be set to a comfortable temperature, please dress in layers. You won’t be moving as much as you do in other yoga classes.
